2008 Fall Meeting Brochure

The 2008 Fall Educational Symposium will be held October 25-26, 2008 at the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Rick V. Hay, MD, of the Van Andel Institute in Grand Rapids will be the program chair for this meeting.

Doctor Hay and his committee are developing a program titled “On the Horizon: What’s “Nu” in Nuclear Medicine?”. The program would appeal to both physicians and technologists. Topics being considered could include PET/MRI-SPECT/MRI; use of SPECT/CT in nuclear cardiology; fast cardiac image acquisition protocols; use of hand-held gamma probes; update on scintimammography; alpha-particle and Auger electron radiotherapy; and microdosimetry.
