Come join us for the 2010 Annual Spring Meeting of the Central Chapter- Society of Nuclear Medicine. The meeting will be held March 26-28, 2010 at the Grand Wayne Convention Center and the Hilton Grand Wayne in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Governance Day will be Thursday, March 25 featuring committee meeting and the meetings of the Technologist Section Executive Council and the Chapter’s Board of Governors.

Nuclear medicine is rapidly evolving. Where are you in your knowledge of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging as compared to the specialty as it is desired to be? This difference is the knowledge gap. The “gap” is defined as the difference between the current state of knowledge, skills, competence, practice or patient outcomes and the ideal or desired state. It is the “is” versus the “ought”. To help close this gap, the Central Chapter has compiled a fascinating educational program titled “Imaging is Money: Keeping Focused and Staying on Top”. This meeting will focus on how the changes are affecting the practice of nuclear medicine. The program will address the challenges, complex issues and current research that the nuclear medicine professional encounters in their practice. Expert faculty will examine advance in emerging technology and radiopharmaceuticals.

The program will also include a one-day breakout session designed specifically for students. This first-time activity will include “The Battle of the Minds” a College Student Quiz Bowl Competition and a discussion on “Facing the Future” including jobs, resumes and interviews.

Fort Wayne has a lot to offer visitors. Join us for some top-notch education and enjoy Fort Wayne’s hospitality.

Learning Objectives:
